There are so many instances in a day where we just shrink and hide our true selves from the world. And we do it unconsciously--because of external pressures or expectations. That means that showing up as our full most authentic selves becomes a constant choice--a constant practice. Today's Katonah practice opens the front of our bodies to practice being vulnerable WHILE continually staying grounded and connected to the earth and our roots. We do some cross-legged work and some grounded and supported backbends while asking ourselves: what would it feel like to be the most authentic version of myself? Props needed: blocks (though variations without blocks are presented!)
