This is a slow-paced practice, with deep attention to releasing the hamstrings/hips/lower back, focusing on breath and full embodiment. We work the first major fold of the body in a few positions, and ground ourselves for the day ahead. Ideally designed to do upon waking to get the kinks out before the day to leave you feeling strong, capable, and full of tenacity for whatever you need to do afterwards. This is also the perfect practice to do the day after an extremely taxing workout or full day of tension for the body. Once you've done this practice a few times, you can do your own abbreviated version each morning to maintain the openings you're creating and maximize your potential. Suggested props: blankets, blocks, strap. Recorded November 2024.
