If you are feeling an emotion strongly (whether it's joy or grief), this is a practice to lean into. We feel deeply, and then notice the temporary nature of the emotion, and allow that transient property to feel like stability. The stability in the hips transitions to stability in flying pigeon and some backbends in a grounded pigeon as well.
