The world around us holds surprises around every corner. How do we allow ourselves to feel joy in every day tasks, in the casual moments of our life? In this practice, we look for joy and curiosity in what we are attempting on the mat. We practice the allowing by beginning with a repetitive flow (the Katonah moon flow) and then move into some flows with some arm balances thrown in as (surprise!) opportunities for joy and curiosity. Suggested props: strap (we do a lot of shoulder mobility work, so have a strap handy if you like!)
