This is a strong Katonah practice: today we think about the back as a mitt, and the past as the ball. So the past travels into us and potentiates us forward. We start in a supported backbend and then move through a practice continuing to focus on the pubic bone forward to really substantiate our backbends. There's an option to then choose a backbend during heart-opener play time and we finish with a long forward fold and some pranayama. Suggested props: blocks, strap, blanket
