Today is THROAT CHAKRA DAY! This practice is good for when you need to speak up for yourself, speak your mind, or when you need to check in and do some deep listening, because it is always about balance! This class focuses on the head and neck and is also great if you have been having pain while practicing. We really tune into our alignment and focus on the third floor (neck/head in Katonah). We start in a supported fish pose to begin to open up our throat chakra while listening to a poem by Mark Nepo. We move through warriors and lunges and move toward a supported plow pose to start to balance it all back out. Suggested props: blankets, blocks, strap
