The vibe of the day is slow and low: we start with a grounded flow and move into some deep pigeon twists, some grounded backbends, and then a long forward fold. We work deeply with the breath today, exploring possibilities and using the Katonah breath wraps to support the asanas and our own sense of wonder. The poem by Mark Nepo "Let's Voice the Possibilities" ends with the line: "in this open wing that is our breath--we are safe" and we use that safety to find our courage in today's practice.
