The concept of "surrender" holds so much power--both on and off the mat. The softness that we can bring to a pose, or to a conversation, allows us to be more rooted in our own strength. We practice finding the softness within our poses today and work to bring this metaphor alive in our bodies to take off the mat as well. We work twisting and into the shoulders today--both stability and flexibility, and culminate in some side crows and variations. Suggested props: blocks, plus others as desired
