Katonah: Expressing Compassion
Community (60-75 mins)
•
1h 8m
Today we focus on our ujjayi breathwork to center ourselves and bring ourselves back into stillness over and over to find our compassion (for ourselves and for the world around us). What does compassion look like for you? Through this practice we activate ourselves over and over, and then re-center with the ujjayi breath and some stillness. Today we work on not just finding our compassion, but fully expressing it and fully feeling it. We do a lot of folding and unfolding, with lots of shoulder and hip work (eagle wraps and arm binds; pigeons, double pigeons, and garudasana). Suggested props: blocks, blanket, strap. Recorded July 2024.
