Today we start off with a poem from Mark Nepo which inspires the theme of the practice--setting yourself up for your personal journey through this life. We work with the feet and ankles a lot in preparation for stepping out into the world. We do some folding, some revolutions, some shoulders (eagle wraps), and we work toward some balancing poses. The practice ends with a little seated hip work. Suggested props: blocks, blanket, wall *Note: if you are working with shoulder issues, I address a question at the end of the practice about some additional shoulder variations. So if you need an option instead of eagle arms, watch the last minute first!
